March, 2008 Huge Oops
We screwed up a little. We were working on the new web site for Erskine and we posted the changes up to Bishopton, it's the same design template but different layout! Very confusing!
We're just about to put up the web site and were testing some aspects of the web site that requires server software to ensure we got it right. We have several test servers for just that aspect of our design stage. Unfortunately, on this occasion, we usually have a back up server to Bishopton, so if for any reason it crashed on one server we can swap to the back up server, we forgot to disable the back up server option (the joys of cut and pasting code!).
Anyway, we're sorry and we've corrected the error now.

Newsletter
I thought I would let everyone know that the newsletter is about to start up again. It's been nearly a year and it's one of the most asked questions to the web site. My life has been a bit stressful over the last year and a half, possibly longer but that is blotted out by my mind so I can't remember back that far. Anyway, we are looking forward to the web site developing and in response to emails about the home page, we're going to make changes to it, get to know first in the InBishopton InBox

Hi Bishopton
Hi Bishopton I thought I would take this opportunity to say hello and bring you up to date with my life as the Bishopton Webbie. The site is taking shape and we are preparing to bring video into the site to augment the photos we have. We have had various emails to say that the photo section has been forgotten about. You're right, but I have taken the photos just not posted any! My lovely camera has a scratched lens, so I am relying on a camera that is of a lesser quality. Still, we intend to add photos every day for a month, just to catch up! We are also going to raise and talk about topics here, with you being able to comment back or raise questions or start new ones! So anything on your mind?
